Digital Radiography

Our modern digital radiography equipment ensures your pet has minimal exposure to radiation, while our automatic processor produces clear, quality films. Within minutes, we can have your pets x-rays taken, processed and ready for interpretation by the doctor.

On-Site Laboratory

Our on-site laboratory allows us to perform screening and diagnostic lab testing to help us determine the best treatment plan for your pet.  Rapid results mean we can make a diagnosis faster and start the appropriate treatment sooner.  

Dentistry

In the past, dental disease was largely ignored by veterinarians, but we now know the important role it plays in your pet’s overall health. A diseased mouth can lead to systemic illness such as liver disease, kidney disease or heart valve dysfunction. Routine professional cleaning allows us to keep your pet’s health on track and decrease the likelihood of oral pain and infection.

Preventive Care

Preventive care is the foundation for maintaining a healthy, happy pet and a strong human/animal bond. Annual or semiannual physical examinations are the cornerstone of preventive care and allow us to assess general health, discuss nutrition, parasite control, necessary vaccinations and screening tests for each individual pet.

As your pets change, so do their dietary needs. We offer nutritional counseling for every stage of your pets’ life, based on their level of activity, health conditions, weight, and age.

Wellness Screening

Research indicates that more than 10% of pets presented to veterinary clinics for routine wellness examinations have some form of underlying disease or abnormality. Many of these pets have normal physical examinations and are not exhibiting noticeable changes in their daily routine. These abnormalities would go undetected without wellness screens.

Early detection is key. A complete blood count, chemistry panel, urinalysis and thyroid test are all basic tests to check overall health. Once a problem has been identified, appropriate treatment recommendations can be implemented and, in many cases, slow the progression of disease and provide your pet with a better, longer life.

Pharmacy

For your convenience and your pets’ health, we keep our pharmacy well-stocked with pharmaceutical products, drugs and medicines, shampoos, prescription diets, flea and tick control products, and heartworm preventives to meet the needs of your pet.  

Referrals

There are cases in which our evaluation results in the need for referral to a veterinary specialist. Our network of veterinary specialists includes dermatologists, oncologists, neurologists, ultrasonographers, ophthalmologists, orthopedic/soft tissue surgeons, behaviorists and more. We have developed relationships with many specialists in order to provide quality care for your pet.
